Rule 1: Silence shall be observed strictly in the Library.

Rule 2: All the students shall produce their identity card at the entrance.

Rule 3: All the students shall sign in the gate register at the entrance of the library.

Rule 4: Personal books, files, lab coat/apron and articles will not be allowed inside the Library. The students are requested to take care of their belongings.

Rule 5: Use of cell phone is not allowed the library.

Rule 6: Smoking, eating, sleeping and talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the Library.

Rule 7: A non-member can use the library materials in the Library premise with the permission of the Principal/ Librarian.

Rule 8: Readers should not mark, underline, write, tear pages, dogear or otherwise damage the library documents.

Rule 9: Readers are requested to handle all Library property carefully to avoid damage to it and also not to disturb other readers/users.

Rule 10: No Library material can be taken out of the Library without permission of the Librarian.

Rule 11: Reprography service is available for bonafide students of the Ibrary at minimal charges. All reprography must comply with copyright legislation.

Rule 12: Some items in the Library cannot be copied because of copyright law, Poor condition, or donor restrictons.

Rule 13: Anyone who violates the rules and regulations of the Library may be debarred from using the Library facilities or may be penalised accordingaly.

Rule 14: The Library membership may be suspended/cancelled at the discretion of the Principal /Librarian for any inordinate or illegal behavior of a student.

Rule 15: The Librarian, with the appproval of the Principal reserves the right to add, delete, or modify any of these rules as and when required.

Rule 16: Suggestions on all aspects of library services are welcome.
