Library Facilities
The library at IoPER is designed to be a hub of knowledge and intellectual growth, providing students with a conducive environment for learning and research. With an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources, the library supports academic excellence and personal development. Modern study spaces, equipped with comfortable seating and quiet zones, encourage focused study sessions and group discussions. Students have access to advanced research tools, e-books, and online databases, enabling them to explore a wide range of topics. The library is a vital resource for academic success, providing students with the necessary materials and space to broaden their understanding, conduct research, and deepen their knowledge under the guidance of knowledgeable staff. Silent Features:
- Silence shall be observed strictly in the Library.
- All the students shall produce their identity card at the entrance.
- All the students shall sign in the gate register at the entrance of the library.
- Personal books, files, lab coat/apron and articles will not be allowed inside the Library. The students are requested to take care of their belongings.
- Use of cell phone is not allowed the library.
- Smoking, eating, sleeping and talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the Library.
- A non-member can use the library materials in the Library premise with the permission of the Principal/ Librarian.
- Readers should not mark, underline, write, tear pages, dogear or otherwise damage the library documents.
- Readers are requested to handle all Library property carefully to avoid damage to it and also not to disturb other readers/users.
- No Library material can be taken out of the Library without permission of the Librarian.
- Reprography service is available for bonafide students of the library at minimal charges. All reprography must comply with copyright legislation.
- Some items in the library cannot be copied because of copyright law, Poor condition, or donor restrictions.
- Anyone who violates the rules and regulations of the Library may be debarred from using the Library facilities or may be penalized accordingly.
- The Library membership may be suspended/cancelled at the discretion of the Principal /Librarian for any inordinate or illegal behavior of a student.
- The Librarian, with the approval of the Principal reserves the right to add, delete, or modify any of these rules as and when required.
- Suggestions on all aspects of library services are welcome.
